Why Go Solar

DISCOVER THE POWER OF SOLAR

Contribute towards a Sustainable Future

Solar energy is clean, renewable and emission free. Everything the home of the future should be. By going solar, you:
REDUCE YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT
REDUCE AIR POLLUTION
LOWER OUR DEPENDENCY ON FOSSIL FUELS
HELP COMBAT CLIMATE CHANGE

Become Energy Independent

On- or off-grid, our solar systems offer you the best of both. When the utility grid is up and running, the system offsets your energy usage, saving you money or eliminating your energy bill altogether. And when the grid is down, you and your family can be sure of reliable power, when a battery system has been installed or an electric car is used to supplement specific items in your home.

You have complete control. That’s the power of energy independence.

Save on Utility Costs

Your energy bill could reduce significantly, or be eliminated completely, depending on the size of your roof and how much sunlight you typically get.

Increases Property Value

Installing solar panels instantly increases the value of your home. According to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, $1 of savings generated adds $20 to your home’s market value.

This means that investing in solar panels could help move your home 20% faster if you decide to sell.

Benefit from Solar Tax Credits

To help reduce the cost of installing residential or commercial solar energy systems, the Federal Government put the Solar Investment Tax Credit (ITC) in place as an incentive.

Homeowners and businesses benefit from this tax credit as it deducts a percentage of the cost from their Federal tax liability, or from their alternative minimum tax amount.

There’s no maximum dollar amount for your deduction. If installed before the end of 2022, 30% of the total cost is deducted from your federal income taxes, regardless of the size and cost of the solar energy system.

Eligible Expenses Include

The cost of the panels
Balance-of-system components
Contractor costs
Permit and inspection fees
Energy storage devices
Sales tax that was paid on any of the above costs
